Shift Details: 11p - 7:30am every other weekend and rotating holidays
Work as a Clinical Nurse in our dynamic healthcare environment where every moment matters. Join our team at Backus Hospital and be part of Connecticut's leading healthcare network. As a Clinical Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs, establish care plans, implement treatment, and evaluate patient progress. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled nurse to join our team.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of nursing
- One (1) year acute RN experience
- Current unrestricted license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Critical Care track
- Ability to obtain and maintain department specific certifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic knowledge of Nursing principles and practices. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and medical staff. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities. Basic computer knowledge for data entry and retrieval.
