Salary:

Starting at $66,978.00 (Exempt)

About the Position:

Oversees the day-to-day and long-term operations of the case management team by providing guidance, resources, and back-up, while ensuring quality and timely delivery of services to children and families in foster care and/or intact services.

A Typical Day as an Child Welfare Team Supervisor:

  • Ensure that services plans are completed on time and reflect client input.
  • Evaluate all foster care services provided to ensure the services are meeting long-term objectives of the agency and meeting standards of time and cost efficiencies
  • Provide case management and other services to clients when staff is not available
  • Review and approve records, reports, and documentation from supervised staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with guidelines and procedures
  • Provide weekly one-on-one supervision with case management team

Location:

1315A Curt Drive, Champaign, IL including travel and spending time in the field visiting clients' homes, communities, and attending court. This office provides services to the following counties: Champaign, Macon, Ford, and Platt.

Work Hours:

Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based on the availability of youth and families served. Hybrid work is available based on job duties.

Does the Following Apply to You?

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Human Service, or related field
  • Child Welfare Experience (preferred)
  • CWEL License (preferred)

Additional Qualifications:

  • Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Obtain an insured vehicle
  • At least three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of DCFS Foundations Training to obtain Child Welfare Licensure (if applicable)
