Charge Nurse - PRN
We are seeking a dedicated charge nurse who is passionate about providing top-quality care to our residents and patients. As a charge nurse at our skilled nursing facility, you will lead a team of caregivers and ensure the well-being of those we serve. Responsibilities:
- Overseeing nursing aides and support staff
- Providing direct nursing care to residents and monitoring their conditions
- Updating care plans and notifying medical professionals of any changes in residents' health
- Completing administrative tasks such as documentation and supply ordering
- Handling resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Performing emergency procedures and communicating with families and other parties as necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum of six months experience in a healthcare setting
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a registered nurse (RN) degree
- Current RN license and CPR certification in the state of Tennessee
- Ability to work flexible hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and travel as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervising support staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
