Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative answers inbound calls and makes outbound calls in response to customer questions regarding RS Medical products and services. The Customer Service Representative promotes compliance, provides patient instruction, product complaint intake documentation and assessments.

Key Responsibilities

•Resolves concerns and answer questions of customers regarding services and procedures.

•Assist with placement of orders and exchanges.

•Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses, emails, and phone numbers.

•Provides prompt, professional, attentive, empathetic, friendly, courteous, pleasant, and helpful service to all customers, internal and external.

•Addresses product concerns and provides instructions on how to use the product.

•Keeps reference materials current and organized.

•Alerts Customer Service Management Team of any unique issues in regard to Account Managers, patients, products, etc.

•Utilizes computer system to monitor call volumes to ensure adequate phone coverage.

•Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience / Qualifications

•Six-months previous call center experience or combination of relevant telephone experience and customer service.

•Works under moderate supervision.

•Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of the job responsibility.

•Ability to use automated information systems to analyze patient accounts.

•Ability to communicate and convey information effectively.

•Effective listening skills that give full attention to what other people say, take time to understand the points being made, ask questions as appropriate, and not interrupt at inappropriate times.

•Basic math and proficient reading comprehension skills.

•Ability to work in a team environment.

•Ability to have a quiet workspace and flexibility to work in a home office, depending on company needs.

•Organized, self-motivated, dependable, flexible and strong decision-making skills.

•Strong desire to learn and succeed.

Physical Requirements

General office environment that will include frequent or continuous periods of talking, sitting, keyboard entry, repetitive motions of the hands/wrists, reaching, grasping and handling. This position also requires occasional bending, squatting, standing, and walking. Pushing, pulling lifting and carrying of up to 10 lbs. is required on an occasional basis. Good general vision and hearing are needed.
