Responsibilities:

Safely transport construction materials such as beams, pile driving equipment, sand, gravel, rocks, and construction machinery.
Operate various types of vehicles including dump trucks, semi flatbeds, and equipment movers.
Ensure timely delivery of goods to various construction sites while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and any incidents.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and construction site personnel to coordinate deliveries and pick-ups.
Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid CDL A or B with no gear restriction.
Minimum of 3 years of driving experience in the construction hauling or related industry.
Proven experience with dump trucks, semi flatbeds, and equipment moving is preferred.
Clean driving record with the ability to provide a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Ability to work one of two shift available: Day Shift: 6:30 am to 5-6 pm or night Shift: 8 pm or 9 pm to 5-6 am (Night shift differential in pay is an additional $2 per hour)
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in transport.
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Physical ability to handle the demands of loading and unloading heavy materials.
