Tall Timbers Property Owners Association, located in Vernon, NJ is recruiting for In-House Seasonal Campground Patrol. Our beautiful campground complex has approximately 750 active and privately owned sites, spread out over 250 acres. Must have CPR/First Aid certification as well as NJ Security Guard Licensing (SORA), valid driver’s license and pass a state and federal background check. Law enforcement, correctional and/or veteran preferred. Valid drivers license and reliable transpotation a must. Pay is up to $26/per hour, depending on experience.

· Main season: April – October

· Available to work holidays and at least one weekend day

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises

- Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect and prevent breaches

- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify potential risks

- Respond to alarms and emergency situations in a timely manner

- Provide assistance and support to property owners, visitors, employees, as needed

- Enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry

- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities

- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a security guard, relevant position, police experience and/or military background

- Knowledge of security operations and procedures

- Strong observation and surveillance skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations and have strong conflict management skills

- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of time

- De-Escalation
