Behavioral Health Clinical Manager

The Behavioral Health Clinical Manager provides clinical supervision and consultation for all providers within the behavioral health department. Ensures quality of clinical care delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Under the general supervision of the BH Director, job incumbent may be assigned from the following representative duties: Support the organization's mission and goals, quality standards, and patient-centered medical home philosophy. Oversee all BH Department clinical work occurring in any designated KANA location. Provide individual and group clinical supervision and/or consultation, to include licensure/certification supervision. Provide feedback to direct service providers regarding outcomes processes and results. In unison with the Behavioral Health Team Lead Clinician, assume an acting role as designee and point of contact for the department when the BH Director is absent. Collaborate with Quality Management staff to incorporate any required Federal, State, and/or AAAHC requirements into clinical practice; monitor fidelity to identified best practices. Ensure all clinical practice is informed by current research in psychology/counseling; work with providers to develop/establish theoretical orientation/approaches. Evaluate usefulness of evidence-based treatments (EBTs) in the clinical setting; work to identify practice-based evidences (PBEs) that are culturally and individually appropriate for KANA's clientele. Provide and apply information and insights from the social and behavioral science research literature to guide the clinical work of the department. Identify and report improvements to all clinical flow/processes in close collaboration with the BH Director for improvements and corrections. Work with the clinical team on client triage and appropriate client placement. Attend all required staff and supervision meetings. Other duties as assigned.
