We are currently seeking a licensed, experienced, hospital trained Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a behavioral health facility in the Boston,MA area. This is for a part-time position, 16 hours/weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 7am - 3:30pm, alternating weekends.
* Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines Preferred.
* Hospital Experience preferred.
* National certification preferred
* Massachusetts pharmacy technician license
SKILLS
* Unit dosing of oral medications
* Placing orders with vendors, verifying receipt
* Removing outdated drugs
* Proven experience as pharmacy technician
* Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
* Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred
