We are hiring an Admissions Coordinator to our growing team! The Admissions Coordinator will maintain a professional and thorough working relationship with the KBC, NACCAS, DOE and other pertinent state and federal agencies. Build community relationships that lead to growth opportunities. Demonstrate a high level of program knowledge to assist students. Work effectively with co-workers as part of the student services team to ensure each student's experience with SEBA is professional, service­ focused and productive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as first point of contact for prospective & enrolling students
  • Retrieving ISIRS
  • Contacting prospective students to discuss SAi (Student Aid Index)
  • Assessing payment plan options and/ or qualifying PELL grant options
  • Scheduling & conducting pre-enrollments, ensuring a clear understanding of SEBA policies and course catalog
  • Following up with & keeping record of prospective students
  • Ensuring students submit all required documentation per the guidelines set forth by the DOE, KBC, NACCAS
  • Assisting students in completing enrollment documentation
  • Enrolling students in FAME
  • Maintaining ongoing conversations with students to address any financial/ admission related questions/ concerns
  • Compiling & maintaining up-to-date student files
  • Generating Title IV award letters
  • Awarding Title IV to qualifying students
  • Processing & tracking student payments
  • Coordinating between different agencies & organizations
  • Initiating, processing & maintaining office and school invoice
  • Preparing & compiling NACCAS audit reporting documentation
  • Preparing & compiling FAME audit reporting documentation
  • Ensuring prompt & efficient handling of telephone/ email
  • Ensuring the implementation of record-keeping and data retrieval systems to accurately & effectively maintain records
  • Generating student Title IV SAP Progress Reports & taking appropriate action for probation/terminated students  

Key Experience and Education Needed:

  • Associate Degree preferred or 2 years related experience 
  • Be of good moral character with a passion to mentor students
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding abilities to communicate in person, in writing and over the phone
  • Experience in Business, Administration or related field
  • Associate Degree preferred OR 2 years related field experience
  •  Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other office management tools and applications, including Freedom (FAME)
