Position: General Manager

Summary of Responsibilities

When running a gas station, one of the main goals and accomplishments is to turn a profit. This means creating a monthly budget and setting goals. The General Manager will play the key role in the operation of our Gas Station.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Directing the daily operations of a Gas Station.
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting and retention of team members, financial accountability
  • Ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer
  • Greets customers, orders stock and interacts with vendors delivering goods.
  • Creates reports, showing the daily and monthly sales to his boss.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members, conducting performance appraisals, counsels, motivating, and training entire team inclusive of developing Assistant Managers
  • Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to be flexible in all situations based on business needs.
  • Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills
  • Ability to follow directions
  • You must be capable to take on high volumes of customers while attending to other daily tasks that can include lifting up to 25 lbs.
