Adjunct Instructor, Graphic Design

Berkeley College is seeking dynamic and experienced Adjunct Instructors to join our adjunct pool and teach our UI/UX Design course. This position is ideal for professionals with a passion for user interface design, design thinking, and problem-solving skills. The course covers key concepts such as wireframes, user testing, personas, scenarios, and storyboards applied to web and app development.

In this position, you will play a vital role in teaching and mentoring students, creating an engaging learning environment, and helping them develop the necessary skills to pursue lifelong success in dynamic careers.

The current openings are for onsite teaching in Fall Semester, 2024.

Classes begin September 3, 2024, and end date December 14, 2024.

Salary Range: $3,105 - $3,375 per course/semester.

Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in graphic design or a related discipline.
  2. College-level teaching experience preferred.
  3. Knowledge of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
  4. Familiarity with Canvas LMS or similar learning management system.
  5. Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to teach onsite (Woodland Park campus) and online. Candidates wishing to teach online must have the proper computer equipment and bandwidth for streaming.
