Travel CT Technologist - $2,495 per week

Certification Details Certifications required for this position include BLS and ARRT(R). Job Details This nursing job requires knowledge and skills in x-ray and CT. Applicants must have experience with various imaging environments, including ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OR. The hired candidate will provide coverage for a Critical Access Hospital performing various x-rays and CT scans. The applicant will be involved in emergent cases and may use a C-arm in surgery. Job Requirements Certifications Required: BLS, ARRT(R), with ARRT - CT preferred. Experience with x-ray and CT imaging is needed. Schedule Information Shift lengths may vary: 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on the need. Possible shifts include 6a-230, 8-430, 930-6p, 12-830pm; 8p-6a, 6a-6p, or 6p-6a. Weekend requirements: Typically every third or fourth. Holiday requirements will depend on the needs of the facility. There might be call or standby requirements based on staffing. Unit Specific Information The department has a Siemens 128 slice CT scanner, Siemens Ysio Xray, Siemens MIRA portable, GE OEC c-arm, Hologic Mini-C. The EMR system used is EPIC and the PACS used is McKesson. There will be a week of unit/department-specific orientation. There is no use of RRAs (Registered Radiology Assistants), but there is one Radiology RN available Mon-Fri. Additional Details Candidates must already have an account created/registered to run the MN NETSTUDY prior to submitting a profile. The job can be busy/demanding due to the busy ER and Clinic. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn are important for success in this department. There is a 50-mile radius rule for applicants.
