Role Description * This is NOT acute care*
This is a full-time on-site role for a Wellness Nurse (LPN/RN) at Bethany Community Services. The Wellness Nurse will be responsible for coordinating wellness programs, overseeing CNA and HHA staff, collaborating with families, Resident Service Coordinators, Wellness and other departments to address residents quality of life and related issues.
Qualifications
- LPN/RN licensure
- Supervisory experience
- Administrative experience and technical abilities, i.e.: computers
- Experience in wellness programs and healthcare services for older adults
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of aging-related health issues and treatments
- Empathy and compassion for older adults
