Welding Supervisor - 2nd Shift

<b>Location: </b> Logansport, IN<br> <b>Salary: </b> $65,000.00 USD Annually - $70,000.00 USD Annually<br> <b>Description: </b> <br>Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Weld Shop Production Supervisor to lead a dynamic team of 30 welding personnel at a manufacturing facility. As a key leader in our production process, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to quality policies, standards, and procedures while maintaining a safe, clean, and highly productive work environment.<br> <br>Responsibilities:<br> <ul> <li>Direct and lead a team of 30 welding personnel, overseeing scheduling adherence, policy and procedure administration, and documentation.</li> <li>Provide mentorship and training to ensure the team operates efficiently and upholds the highest standards of quality.</li> <li>Implement and manage workflow, planning, and mechanical expertise to drive departmental success.</li> <li>Analyze production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring the team operates in a safe and productive manner.</li> <li>Manage troubleshooting activities, systematically resolving problems and coordinating resources to meet customer needs.</li> <li>Communicate progress to appropriate management, ensuring customer satisfaction remains a top priority.</li> <li>Review the daily production log, ensuring adherence to the production schedule and meeting production targets.</li> <li>Communicate effectively to motivate and maintain high personnel performance levels through various means such as meetings, appraisals, and progressive discipline.</li> <li>Review and approve employee time cards and schedules, actively managing overtime.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all-hands MIG welding techniques and standards.</li></ul> <br>Requirements:<br> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in welding.</li> <li>Strong background in welding, specifically with all-hands MIG welding.</li> <li>Experience in automotive or trailer manufacturing is a significant advantage.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul> <br> <ul> </ul> <b>Contact:</b> lmaldonado@judge.com<br> <br>This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
