Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Donor Data Specialist to join our team. The Donor Data Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our donor database, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of donor information. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission by effectively managing donor data to support fundraising efforts and donor engagement strategies.

MINISTERIAL DUTIES

Lead, conduct and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example so they are equipped to serve others. Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement. Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs (see FCA's Christian Community Statement) at all times. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Generate reports and analysis on donor giving patterns, trends, and segmentation to inform fundraising strategies and decision-making. Collaborate with fundraising and development team members to support donor cultivation, stewardship, and retention efforts. Implement data management best practices and ensure adherence to relevant regulations, to safeguard donor privacy and confidentiality. Conduct regular data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, duplicate records, and other data issues. Provide training and support to staff on donor database usage and best practices for data entry and management. Ongoing evaluation of current systems and discovery of future systems and processes to ensure data excellence. Collaborate with IT and other teams to edit reports, tables, data bugs, usability issues and errors. Recommend the creation of strategy, training and resources based upon the reporting and use of donor data analytics. Work with Donor Advancement team to discover and deliver meaningful insights on constituent data. Maintain and update donor database records, including accurate entry of donor information, gifts, faith promises, and interactions. Process faith promises, planned giving data and acknowledgments promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and donor preferences. COMPETENCIES

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in data management, preferably in a non-profit or fundraising environment. Proficiency in donor database software (e.g., Blackbaud, Raiser's Edge) and Microsoft Excel. Ability to summarize issues and translate technological information to non-technical audiences Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. Commitment to the mission and values of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. EXPERIENCE

Experience with CRM systems and fundraising software. Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices. Familiarity with Christian non-profit organizations and their donor base.
