POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Lead performs a combination of tasks to receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and

products. The main duty is receiving all deliveries and entering the material into SAP for inventory purposes and managed the

stocking levels for their location. The Warehouse Lead trains and mentors Warehouse Specialists.


Key Accountabilities

  • General Housekeeping of Warehouse.
  • Support and manage repair components and assist with forecasting inventory for all locations.
  • Label and complete part numbers and location of all inventory items as per warehouse set-up.
  • Audit inventory supplies weekly.
  • Work with Purchasing Department to inform of any outstanding inventory items.
  • Assist periodic physical inventories; organize and readies the warehouse for the counts, assist management in selecting
  • count teams, help resolve problems during the count and liaison with outside auditors.
  • Operates warehouse inventory control system in order to maintain the inventory for the area.
  • Responsible for the physical control of inventory per Management’s instructions.
  • Take on lead role of warehouse for specific region or PSL.
  • Evaluate performance of assigned staff and provide feedback, coaching, training, and mentoring.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of well-servicing and drilling materials and equipment.
  • A working knowledge of inventory control practices and principles.
  • Must possess organizational skills as required for completing alpha and numerical file maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be forklift certified.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory auditing procedures.
  • Strong computer and organizational skills.

Minimum Required Education

  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. - Required

Minimum Required Work Experience

  • 7-10 years - Required
