Make a difference as a Home Health Aide

As a HHA at Traditions Home Health Services, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to our patients. Your tasks will include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and reporting any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols. With our emphasis on excellence and integrity, you will be expected to deliver high-quality care with honesty and reliability.

Traditions Home Health Services offers weekly pay by direct deposit. Upon qualification you will have access to 401K and Benefits.

Requirements for the Home health AIDE positions

To excel as a HHA at Traditions Home Health Services, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and the healthcare team. Empathy and compassion are essential qualities that will allow you to provide personalized and sensitive care to those in need. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately are crucial for maintaining patient safety and well-being. Additionally, having a reliable and trustworthy nature will help you build rapport with patients and foster a sense of trust and security in your caregiving. Basic medical knowledge and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations are also key attributes for success in this rewarding role.

1. HHA Certification

2. Minimum 2 years' experience working with your certification (in the home care setting preferred)

3. Valid Massachusetts Driver's License and reliable auto, proof of insurance (clean driving record)

4. Current TB Test (yearly) or X-Ray (every 5 years)

5. The ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language

6. Own a Smartphone (all documentation is done through an app.)

7. Reliable, honest, and compassionate

8. Experience working with Dementia Patients
