Job Summary:
Ashley Stewart is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with over 5 years of expertise in financial management and QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling statements, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks, contributing to the overall financial health and success of the company
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial transactions to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial documents.
  • Manage QuickBooks online software to track and report on financial activities, including invoicing, bill payments, and expense tracking.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support the financial stability of the company.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare for audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by senior management.
  • Assist with tax preparation and filing, including managing records for tax deductions and credits.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, accounting standards, and changes in financial regulations.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management.
  • Extensive experience with QuickBooks online software, including advanced features and reporting capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the retail or fashion industry is a plus.
