Summary of Job: This is an experienced VDC Coordinator position where the incumbent will translate design intent contract documents or 3D design models of predominantly Plumbing Models but also HVAC and Mechanical into fabrication and installation detail Building Information Models (BIM’s) utilizing BIM fabrication modelling software. Education and Experience: 2 or more years of experience with installation or 3D modelling of mechanical or plumbing systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication CADMEP and Autodesk Navisworks Knowledge of Autodesk Revit or any other BIM related software is a plus A working familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and ability to be trained in use of the Company-specific applications and software Skills and Abilities: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret technical literature/writing and plans Ability to define problems, assess options and make appropriate recommendations Ability to distinguish between shades of color Competence in public speaking/presentations Self-driven desire to learn, become competent, and succeed in field Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to train and mentor Good self-management and organizational skills Professional demeanor Good analytical skills and ability to generate creative solutions Ability to perform well and meet expectations in a fast-paced environment Good interpersonal skills Ability to coordinate project activities and monitor progress to successfully reach project goals Good self-management and organizational skills Ability and willingness to demonstrate ethical behavior and a high level of integrity Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities Ability manage stress and job demands Ability to cooperatively work with others Company Perks & Benefits: Our mission at Lee Company is to create an environment where our employees can thrive, and we mean that.
