Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Vascular Ultrasound Technologist like you to be a part of our team. Job Summary and Qualifications The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic procedures with the use of ultrasound, with protocols outlined by the radiologist. What will you do in this role: Operate diagnostic equipment, process images, and prepare room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Responsible for selecting proper technical factors, producing diagnostic quality images, and competent in the operation of equipment. Maintain credentials and obtain the required CEU’s for certification. Assistance is also needed by the physicians during invasive procedures. Other duties include, but are not limited to, clerical, scheduling, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning and anything deemed necessary by the medical imaging management team. What qualifications you will need: RDMS, RVT or RVS certified preferred; BLS on hire (American Heart Association) RVT or RVS certification must be obtained within 18 months of employment for sonographers with 1 year or less experience. RVT or RVS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment for sonographers with greater than 1 year experience. Graduate of an AMA approved Ultrasound school.
