Minimum Qualifications:

HS/GED with Registered Diagnostic Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer within one year of hire
OR
-
Registered Cardiac Sonographer within one year of hire
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
-
Registered Vascular Technologist with the ARDMS or equivalent or Registry eligible.

CPR, clinical experience in Vascular Sonography
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
-
Performs ultrasound imaging, identifies anomalies and makes independent protocol decisions based on findings to assist primary care providers with diagnosing patients.

Obtains, reviews and integrates pertinent patient history and clinical data to facilitate optimal diagnostic results.

Maintains sonographic and other equipment in efficient operating order.
-
Sets up for and assists the physician or licensed provider with procedures and examinations.
-
Completes billing and coding information for performed procedures.

Performs other duties as assigned.
