General Summary:

Under the direction of the Funding Service Officer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures, performs a variety of operational activities. Provides excellent customer service, primarily by phone and email. Requires comprehensive understanding of Treasury Management and wire products and processes.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • In depth working knowledge of all facets of Business Online, Retail Online, Mobile Banking, Wires and Debit Card products from the customer value and use of the products to bank’s operational processes.
  • Reviewing outgoing wire transfer forms to ensure validity of information provided
  • Timely and accurate input and verification of outgoing wire transfers
  • OFAC review of incoming and outgoing wire transfers, which may include escalation to BSA/Compliance Department
  • Ensure all outgoing wires have appropriate approval prior to transmitting funds
  • Reconcile wire requests to wire logs and supporting systems
  • Administration of items and maintaining files of debit cards
  • New applications
  • Debit Card issues and reissues
  • Lost or stolen Debit Cards
  • Verification of maintenance on Debit Cards
  • Processing of Disputes and maintaining Regulation E compliance
  • Reviewing and Processing Enfact (suspect of unusual debit card activity)
  • Complete daily ATM system balancing
  • Understand and adhere to the Bank’s policies and procedures
  • Interact with customers and branch personnel via E-mail and telephone to resolve payment transmission issues
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all banking business account types to be able to combine this knowledge with that of treasury management products and apply that knowledge to efficiently assess and resolve client issues
  • Provide high quality support for all treasury management products and services: ACH originations, remote deposit capture, online wire transfers, positive pay, and treasury systems and functions
  • Process requests for adding new business clients to the treasury systems as well as perform maintenance and modifications for existing clients
  • Communicate and troubleshoot system issues with clients and fellow treasury management team members
  • Assist with special projects and other duties, as assigned

Working Conditions

  • Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • Requires corrected hearing in normal range of effective communication via telephone and alarms.
  • May be required to sit for long periods of time.
  • May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Considerable effort and eyestrain from continued checking on the accuracy of all work.

Requirements:

Minimum Level of Education

  • A high school diploma or GED. Three years of job related experience in Treasury Management functions.
  • Familiar with Banking products and services.
  • Knowledgeable in computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office software applications that include Word, Excel, databases and the ability to integrate applications with each other.
  • Internet/web server application knowledge.

  • Able to utilize good judgment, demonstrate patience, and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Technical training and experience in Treasury Management functions.
  • Broad knowledge of departmental balancing, operations, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with personnel of other departments and branches.
  • The ability to operate a variety of automated and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced production environment with consistent deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of computer generated reports and procedures as they affect the department’s operation.
  • Ability to make quick decisions.
  • Ability to synthesize and act on inside and outside customer needs.
