CADT is looking for LISCW, LPC, or LPCC for our new Mental Health Outpatient Program. We're looking to expand our services to be able to provide better and more comprehensive care to the community. We want to find a candidate who wants to better the community in a way that builds on CADT's Mission and Vision.
Summary
The Mental Health Professional will have a strong background in counseling and therapy. They we be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services for both adults and adolescents as needed. The Mental Health Professional will work interdepartmentally to provide services across the Center programs as necessary, and work with individual clients as a part of strictly mental health program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and clients' goals.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor clients' progress throughout the treatment process and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate care and support interdisciplinary treatment approaches.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices, research findings, and advancements in the field of mental health.
  • Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development activities.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and access to mental health services within the community.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and resources to facilitate clients' access to additional support services.
Qualifications
  • Must be independently licensed with a Minnesota-issued Clinical Practice license. E.g. LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, LPC
    • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • Must be able and have experience in providing mental health services to individuals and groups of all ages.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and executive skill sets.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 application including Office Suite, Outlook, and Teams.
