Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/14/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, RRT or CRT, ND state lic Preferred: NRP, PALS PROFILE REVIEWMANAGER INTERVIEW - treatments per day: Only respiratory in house (census/ surges) only medium size CAH in the area 65% of admissions are through ER - Types of patients: Mostly adults, newborns, and ER all ages, traumas, do not keep many peds in the hospital. - What areas do they cover: ER, MS - Noncompliant patients, and Newborn nursery, do no, and occasionally attend C-Sections, No PFTs - Experience or 'Must haves : 3 years of Respiratory experience. Need previous travel experience. Adult ventilator management. ABGS, Cpap, Bipap, treatments, if no newborn experience must be willing to learn. - Job Duties: Days - ER EKGs, Nights RN to do EKG (should not get called in for that), ABGs, more autonomous with respiratory care plans and treatment plans.
