Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration: 16 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Experience: Minimum of 5 Years Required License: Pending State License Accepted Certifications: BLS Required, RDCS-Adult Preferred Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience preferred - RDCS credential strongly preferred, but RCS with strong experience considered - Left-handed scanning strongly preferred due to room setup Job Description: - Work four 10-hour day shifts with a rotating day off each week. - Participate in a fair rotation of Saturday coverage, with an additional day off during the week. - Required to participate in holiday rotation coverage for pre/post-holiday shifts. - Handle adult and geriatric patients in a fully accredited inpatient/outpatient echocardiography lab. - Experience in advanced protocols and pathologies in a large academic medical setting is preferred. - Agency staff will not participate in stress testing or TEE coverage. - Strong critical thinking, time management, and physical endurance required due to high daily volume demands. - Must maintain beard/facial hair restrictions for successful FIT testing. - Work setting experience preferred in outpatient, inpatient, ER, Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital. - General skills required: PACS, GE, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, M-Mode. - Additional preferred skills: Portables, Biopsies, Phillips, 3D Echo, RIT/RVOT, LVAD, ECMO turn down, Congenital. - No floating to sister facilities required. - No weekend obligation beyond every other week coverage. - No on-call required.
