Travel Physical Therapist - $2,514 per week

Certification Details Required Certifications: AHA BLS. Job Details Aspirus Ironwood Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel position. The specialty required for the position is Physical Therapist. This role entails evaluating, treating, and planning patient care in accordance with Physical Therapy Standards of practice, as well as documenting to meet regulatory and reimbursement requirements. The candidate should be a hard worker, resilient, and able to manage change well while maintaining a professional demeanor. Job Requirements A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy is required. Licensure required for the State of Michigan, specifically MI State PT Licensure. Will accept new graduates for this position. Experience with Epic EMR is necessary. Applicants should be capable of treating a patient population that includes outpatient and inpatient mix, across the lifespan from pediatrics through geriatric, with a variety of conditions, including orthopedic (post-operative TKA, THA, TSA, etc.) and outpatient neurology disorders. Schedule Information The contract guarantees 40 hours per week. Weekly schedule is Monday to Thursday, starting at 7:30/8 AM ending at 5 PM, with a shorter day on Friday to complete a 40-hour workweek. On-call duties are required one weekend per month. There may be occasional needs to float to the Aspirus Ironwood Outpatient Clinic. Unit Specific Information The unit's patient population includes an outpatient and inpatient mix, across lifespan pediatrics through geriatric. Among the conditions treated are orthopedics (post-operative TKA, THA, TSA, etc.), outpatient neurology, and more. Casual professional attire is required, no specific scrub colors mentioned. Additional Details Contractor must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
