Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role involves administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining accurate patient records. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes to the RN.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, following proper procedures and documentation.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Provide wound care and dressing changes as directed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about disease prevention and management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current and valid LPN license in the state of [State].
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
