We are looking for a reliable RN to care for a child in a professional and considerate manner in the privacy of their own home. Nurse professional must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care while remaining patient and calm.
Position Requirements:
- Trach/Vent experience
- G-tube experience
- At 1 least one year clinical experience required
- Home health nursing experience required
- Must hold current licensure as an RN in the state of Georgia
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks.
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Ability to build rapport with patients & their family
Preferred Qualifications: Pediatrics
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide health care services in patients' residences
- Follow physician prescribed patient care plan
- Administer prescribed medications
- Assist with clients personal care activities
- Complete & document patient assessment
- Assess, monitor, and document changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Provide companionship and basic emotional and/or psychological support
