ID: Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Description: Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are acceptedPatient Population: Adults to GeriatricsCertifications Required: BLS, ACLSGeneral Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Chest pain, STEMI/NSTEMI, new onset CHF/ CHF exacerbation, AAA, syncope, Vtach, heart failure, ACS, COPD, PAD, stroke; Vascular procedures- TCAR, EVAR, carotid endarterectomy, AAA repair, thrombectomy, Cardiac- heart catheterization (with and without PCI), cardioversion, stress test; EKOS machine, TR band, Fem stop, occasional Swanz-Ganz catheters, sheath removals, Aline, central line/PICC, Bipap, ventilatorRatio / Census: 18 Rooms; Average Census of 16; Our CCU Unit is a hybrid unit that has acute, intermediate and intensive care level of care patients. When carding for an ICU patient, the nurse-to-patient ratio may be 1 nurse to 2-3 patients.
