Ameresco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DDC (Direct Digital Controls) Controls Project Manager to oversee and manage our DDC controls projects around Lexington, KY. As a DDC Controls Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful completion of multiple projects related to building automation and controls systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, vendors, and clients, to ensure the smooth implementation and integration of DDC controls solutions. Responsibilities: Manages internal and external resources and making sure the project team has the necessary skill sets to complete the project.
Establishes the project’s overall critical path and ensuring that all project phases adhere to the agreed-upon timeline.
Assists project team in troubleshooting and finding solutions to unforeseen issues.
Develops and monitors all phases of project budget.
Communicates with stakeholders, team members and other project managers on project status; including progress, risk and issues that may have an impact on project delivery.
Manages customer expectations and proactively closing expectation gaps.
Takes ownership of, manages, and obtains approvals for all change requests, particularly regarding scope and budget.
Ensures that project team is adhering to all standards and processes as defined by clients.
Perform all other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the field of DDC controls systems or building automation.
Additional Qualifications: Strong knowledge of DDC controls systems, including programming languages (such as BACnet, LonWorks, or Modbus), protocols, and integration with HVAC, lighting, and other building systems.
Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
