Certification Details Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS Must have PCU experience & be able to read strips Job Details Specialty: Med/Tele RN Facility: CHI St Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center Contract Length: 13 weeks Common diagnosis / Types of patients: adults and geriatrics, Cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, ETOH, Covid Bipap, occasional general surgical with heart history, medical patients with cardiac history, pneumonia covid, acute on chronic conditions, influenza, sepsis Experience or 'Must have' skills: Tele/cardiac RN wanted with PCU experience, Epic preferred, ok with first time travelers Shifts & Scheduling: 7a-7p, 7p-7a - If rotating shift, 7-7 rotation will not occur more than weekly. Manager to make schedule, will consider blocked schedule based on unit needs. Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, Lasix, (low dose Dopamine), No Levo Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties? : Yes- 1:10 is the goal RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot? Bipap, trachs, airvo etc. Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Tele portable monitors and monitors in the rooms, and tech at the nurses' station. Additional Details Radius Rule: 50 miles Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
