Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a Surgical Technician program or equivalent 1:1 combination of post-secondary education and experience Experience Requirements 2 or more Surgical Technician experience in a surgery setting. 2 or more years of pediatric OR experience Certification/License/Registry Requirements Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association CST from NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery from NCCT preferred
