Refrigeration Service Technician

CoolSys serves customers in the retail, commercial, food service, educational, healthcare, and industrial markets. We are currently hiring a Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient and timely manner
• Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment
• Provide preventative maintenance activities for customers by diagnosing equipment malfunction and any operating deficiency of mechanical equipment
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills
• Maintain records of work history and process job tickets and work orders
• Install cases and perform work on minor construction and remodeling projects

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with commercial HVAC and refrigeration installation
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, and balance systems
• Valid driver's license and active EPA certification
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
