Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Psychiatric Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/21/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health - Inpatient Location: Sault St. Marie, MI Start Date: October 21, 2024 Duration: 13 weeks Hours/Day: 12-hour shifts, Variable (Days & Nights), 36 hours guaranteed Shift Notes: 12-hour variable days/nights (06 :45-19:15 or 18:45-07:15) Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Inpatient Behavioral Health. This role is a fantastic opportunity to provide care through the Rehab Centre at Medical Centers in Alpena and Alma. You’ll assist individuals recovering from acute injuries, impairments, and illnesses in helping them regain independence through specialized treatment programs. Responsibilities: Administer care in an inpatient rehab setting Float to the Behavioral Health Unit as needed Administer emergency care Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient care needs Requirements: 1 year of Inpatient Rehab Experience (Required) Ability to float to Behavioral Health Unit BLS (AHA) certification Michigan RN License (Must be active at the time of submission) Skills checklist, and 2 supervisory reference This position requires temporary relocation to Sault St. Marie, MI for the 13-week contract duration. Candidates must be willing to travel and relocate.
