Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Lewiston, Maine. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/16/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year experience required Traveler Experience: Would consider with enough experience Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Out of state travelers only Skills: Certs: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Previous Charge Experience, Cerner, Teaching Hospital Experience, TNCC JOB DETAILS: Target Ratios: 1-2:3 Shift: Variable Shifts 4x9's- variable between the hours of 530am and 8pm Call Requirement: Weeknight/Weekend call; Call is 2 weekdays a month and one weekend 24hr shift every other month Float Requirement: Float to SDS, PACU, and Endo (rare float to endo) Weekend Requirement: Every 6-ish weekends there is weekend 24 hour cal SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Pre and post op care of a large array of specialties and age range. ENT, General, Surg onc, Gyn, plastics, breast, urology, ortho, etc. The only service we do not have right now is neurosurgery. UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Omnicell, Cerner- Surginet, SBAR UNIT ORIENTATION: 3x 9 hour shifts for orientation SCRUBS: Provided or can wear Navy Blue Tact Medical Staffing Job ID 486475.
