Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Neuro ICU Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Patient Diagnoses: Stroke, Seizures, Subdural Hematoma, Brain Tumor, Neurosurgical Intervention, Neuromuscular disorders, Post Arrest Special Procedures/Unit Details: Post procedure monitoring ( TPA, Thrombectomy , Pipeline Stent, Cerebral Aneurysm Coiling or Clipping), etc. Bedside procedures include: intubation, arterial and central line placement, EVD, etc. Post procedural monitoring of clipping and/or coiling of aneurysms, post craniotomy , TPA or Tenectaplase administration monitoring Special Equipment: BIS, TOF, Arctic Sun, EEG, FloTrac, A-line, Central Line, Zoll Intravascular Cooling, Bolt, EVD, Camino ICP Patient Ratio: 1:2 Float requirement EPIC experience required Unit does not accept first time travelers 2 years min ICU experience Preferred Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Must be able to interpret and manage dysrhythmias, manage multi-system organ failure Must be able to follow IV insulin protocols Management of continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration, titrate cardiac drips, and titrate vasoactive drips Ventilator management SabalCare Job ID 28043761.
