*Practice Type*: New Hospital focusing Urgent Care on Small Animal/Exotics

*Job Responsibilities:*
* *Client Interaction*: Build rapport with clients, gather information, and empathize with their concerns.
* *Medical Procedures*: Perform urgent care exams, physical exams, diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures ensuring high-quality care while minimizing patient stress.
* *Communication*: Discuss pet diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs with clients.
* *Record Keeping*: Maintain and update client/patient medical/surgical records per established protocols.
* *Professional Development*: Stay current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
* *Team Development*: Assist in developing the paraprofessional team to ensure high-quality care and exceptional client service.
* *Professional Representation*: Positively represent the hospital within the professional community.

*Skills and Basic Qualifications:*
* *Educational Requirements*: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
* *Licensure*: Must be in good standing.
