Responsibilities- Provide radiation therapy treatments and function as an essential member of the radiation oncology treatment team in order to provide quality care to our patients.
- Demonstrate competency to deliver a planned course of radiation therapy accurately and safely.
- Use appropriate machine settings to deliver treatment while visually monitoring the patient and treatment console during treatment.
- Takes appropriate verification images.
- Check treatment plans and parameters prior to initial treatment.
- Reports any deviations in treatment plan to appropriate channels.
- Performs and maintains Quality Assurance activities.
