Position: Full-time
Location: Reno, Nevada
Duties:
- Provide comprehensive nephrology care for inpatient and outpatient VA Beneficiaries
- Conduct consultations, diagnoses, therapies, and treatments for kidney disease patients
- Perform dialysis procedures and manage complications
- Supervise and sign off on physician assistant notes, medications, and orders
- Participate in inpatient consultation, rounding, weekend rounding, and on-call coverage
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Requirements:
- Ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification/board eligibility in Nephrology.
- Current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
