Certification Details ACLS/BLS required Pass dysrhythmia exam prior to signing COA Job Details A hospital in Arizona is looking for an experienced Telemetry nurse to work a travel assignment. The right candidates will have 2 years of current tele experience and an active ACLS, BLS and AZ (or compact) license. Must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon acceptance and there is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions). COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD. Job Requirements 2 years of current tele experience Travel experience Active ACLS and BLS certification Active AZ (or compact) license Required to pass dysrhythmia exam and Sim Lab on orientation day Schedule Information Shifts: 7a-7p; 7p-7a Required to work weekends in rotation with core staff Holiday rotation required Unit Specific Information Ratios: 1:4-5 EMR: Cerner Charge Nurse: YES Nurse Aides: PCT/Nursing Aides on days and nights Weekend Requirement: Required to work weekends in rotation with core staff Floor specific orientation: Yes Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Telemetry and Medical/Surgical patients. Neurology, cardiology, urology, ortho, general surgery, renal, pulmonology, infectious disease. We do not have a cath lab, CVOR or CT surgery. No invasive neurology. Phlebotomy is a small department - if a sick call, nursing and PCTs will draw labs.
