Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Lead Systems Engineer is responsible for the oversight of multiple systems and projects direction, design, and implementation of associate technology at Humana, focused on Microsoft 365 Collaboration and Productivity, Multi-Tenant Organization, email and calendaring, B2B Federation, M&A and modern workplace. This role will require a deep understanding of modern workplace technologies and the employee experience, collaboration and productivity that drives digital transformation by optimizing the use of Microsoft 365 tools and integrations, third party service communication, and efficiency. Our Department of Defense contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position. The Lead Systems Engineer at Humana is responsible for overseeing a variety of complex systems and projects. This includes managing policy, compliance, and automation across both Microsoft and third-party technologies. This role will be an instrumental part for implementing business continuity plans and ensuring the security, resiliency, and efficiency across Microsoft services, virtual services and endpoint systems across the organization and affiliates. In this role, the engineer will significantly contribute to expanding Humana's collaboration and productivity solutions. Collaborative efforts with peers from Architecture, Product Management, Support Services, Portfolio Management, and Experience & Design are essential components of this position. The role also encompasses critical duties related to mergers and acquisitions, which includes vendor management, planning and executing migrations, consolidating collaboration platforms, and addressing potential data privacy and security concerns. A key aspect of this role is driving digital transformation by optimizing the use of tools and integrations to boost productivity and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include managing SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and the entire Microsoft 365 stack. The engineer is expected to foster a collaborative work environment, develop change management strategies, promote innovation, apply a growth mindset, and use data analytics to enhance productivity effectiveness. Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications Our Department of Defense contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position. Successfully receive approval for government security clearance (eQIP - electronic questionnaire for investigation processing). Employment with Humana Government Business is contingent upon your having access to government information and systems. 8+ years of Microsoft 365, M&A Integration Systems Engineering experience in an enterprise environment, specific to modern workplace technology solutions. 8+ years of Systems Engineering ITIL experience in design, analysis, configuration, and maintenance of complex systems software solutions and infrastructure. 8+ years of experience designing and implementing highly scalable management systems and controls leveraging products including Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and the entire Office 365 suite. Outstanding collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills with ability to facilitate technology strategy, requirements, and architecture conversations with all partners (management, business users, and technology resources). Demonstrated extensive knowledge managing large, complex initiatives in a results-driven environment, and accountability of deadlines and value propositions. Strong knowledge of data governance, risk management and information security processes including SOC, CIS, NIST, HIPAA and PCI. Experience creating strategic roadmaps, reference architecture and engineering artifacts. Expertise working with user-centered design principles and methodologies. Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences Preferred Qualifications A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field or any combination of relevant experience, education, and training. 8+ years combined hands-on engineering and architecture experience with public and private cloud, distributed computing and custom developed solutions. Additional Information This role will also provide support for Humana Government Business and will require a clear background investigation performed by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$115,300 - $158,600 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
