Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,329 per week

Certification Details Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Insulin, Cardizem, Heparin. Job Details A small hospital in western Idaho is in need of Med-Surg RN's to work a travel assignment. The contract nurse will be working 12 hour shifts. Job Requirements 1 year of experience and okay first time travelers. RNs required to titrate drips: Yes. Schedule Information Shifts & Scheduling: 7p or 7a start, 3 12s, self scheduling, first schedule to fill in the gaps, will consider blocks- to meet unit needs. Weekend Requirement: Every other to every third weekend. Holiday Requirement: Occasionally. Is there Call or a Standby requirement: 2 shifts per contract. Unit Specific Information Number of Beds: 13 Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4 without CNA 1:3. Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Post orthopedic surgeries, PN, COPD, CHF, General surgical chole, appe, mastectomies, A fib RVR, MI/ Rule out chest pain How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 1-2 shifts on the unit. Additional Details - Unit: Medical Surgical McCall Hospital Flr 2 - Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit: 1 CNA, duties: VS, ADLS, foley removal, and set up for sterile procedures, no labs, or IV starts/removal. - RT Equipment: Nasal Cannula, some high flow, Cpap and Bipap etc. - Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit: Tele Box, virtual monitor tech, RN should read at least basic tele. - Floating Requirements: ER to task, rarely, primarily on the unit. - Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided: Any color professional scrub. This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles.
