Position Summary: The Executive Director, Aetna Commercial Performance Marketing, is responsible for partnering with the Aetna Commercial & Specialty business leaders to lead the successful launch and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns and programs to drive B2B sales growth and membership yield through member enrollment. This leader will lead a team of B2B and DTC marketers with a focus on the Commercial line of business at Aetna including oversight of marketing strategy, B2B Demand Generation, Commercial Open Enrollment, and other growth and retention marketing functions

What you will do Lead, develop and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of respect, collaboration and commitment to results Develop and set the Commercial B2B performance marketing program strategy, including campaign objectives, target audiences, channel mix, messaging strategy, creative approach and quantifiable program goals. Develop and maintain campaign platforms and infrastructure to support B2B digital campaigns and programs, including campaign execution platforms, integration of marketing and sales platforms, list/targeting vendors, creative agencies and prospect/customer management and tracking Collaborate across a highly matrixed marketing organization within Aetna and CVS Health and Aetna Marketing Partners closely with business and marketing leaders across commercial to translate product, segment and local growth priorities to impactful and differentiated campaigns and programs that engage and influence B2B and consumer audiences Partner with analytics and market insights colleagues to develop audience insights and test and learn strategies that drive continuous refinement and improvement of campaigns Present program results, learnings and recommendations to Commercial Business and Finance leadership Establishes frames of reference to evaluate relative attractiveness and risks of marketing opportunities and threats. Allocates people, time and budget resources based on product/program priorities and growth opportunities; regularly shares reporting on resource allocation to key internal business partners. Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development. Supports CVS Health in attracting, retaining, and engaging a diverse and inclusive consumer-centric workforce that delivers on our purpose and reflects the communities in which we work, live, and serve.

Required Qualifications: Ability to work Hybrid Model (in office Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday) 10+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, consulting or a related field 8+ years leading people and teams Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills Adept at business intelligence Adept at collaboration and teamwork Mastery of problem solving and decision-making skills Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences and creating compelling presentations Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Strong performance accountability orientation, both in terms of following through on commitments and deadlines Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of commercial health insurance/healthcare industry marketing MBA/Master’s degree in marketing, journalism or communications preferred Healthcare benefits industry experience, particularly in the group employer space Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns Experience with brand and product marketing in the healthcare industry Deep knowledge of market research and consumer/customer insights Strong proficiency in marketing analytics and campaign performance measurement Experience with Content creation Deep understanding of Go-to-Market Strategies Adept at understanding commercial target customers, including brokers, consultants, plan sponsors, providers, and members Experience collaborating and partnering with sales teams

Education Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, Master’s degree preferred Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $131,500.00 - $303,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
