JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for executing quality assurance testing and coordinating all phases of testing: system integration testing, system testing, and end to end testing. The Quality Assurance Configuration Test Lead will learn about the business as well as understand the testing framework and processes for the various applications across the organization. Requires drawing on testing knowledge in order to creatively develop solutions for automating test processes as well as design maintenance procedures and documentation. Perform tasks related to the day-to-day operations and ensure adherence of QA best practices. Facilitate the implementation of QA processes that ensure effective outcomes in terms of performance by analyzing data on relevant metrics, drawing inferences, and identifying correct, preventive, and improvement action plans with a view to improve overall software quality.

Skills & Qualifications:
Reporting to the IT Manager - Custom Application Development as a part of the Community Engagement for the client's Information Technology Services, the Quality Assurance Configuration Test Lead will define, develop, monitor, review and oversee the quality assurance activities. Responsible for the technical and analytical work related to the testing, validation, and quality assurance of business requirements for various applications across the organization as well as the configuration of SaaS solution platforms. Solutions may include Salesforce products or third-party solutions such as OutSystems, etc.
The QA Configuration Test Lead will work closely with functional units to identify practical and scalable solutions for effective testing strategies, drawing from an extensive knowledge of interpreting process mapping, design, and requirements documentation. This role will interface and collaborate with peers within the organization to support quality assurance best practices, business process and systems configuration improvements, product enhancements, maintenance changes with established turnaround times and service levels, etc.
•Develop test plans, test cases, and drive test strategies for targeted applications while maintaining and suggesting improvements to the QA process and practice.
•Lead supplemental test plan reviews with peers, developers, and product team members and resourcing discussions, in addition to having a solid understanding of the business and roadmaps.
•Work closely with the various project teams across the organization to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements pertaining to the testing deliverables
•Contributes to guidelines, best practices, and standards relative to delivery, configuration, and support of the SaaS platforms. Provides technical and analytical support in configuring and testing SaaS systems of moderate to large size.
