Unit secretary 7a-7p. · Type of equipment: IV Pumps, Telemetry, SCD’s, Continuous Pulse Ox Machines, Feeding Pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanner, iMobile communication technology · Documentation system: Meditech · Scheduling requirements: 3 12 hours shifts/week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4 week schedule · Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float; go by rotation when there are multiple C/L staff scheduled · Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members. Bedside shift report, ability to make personal connections with patients and include them/family members in their plan of care. Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: Comprehensive Stroke, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Med/Surg Experience, ability to prioritize care, multitask, start IV’s, basic wound care, maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, & chest tubes.
