Must be a team player, flexibleand accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. CERTS : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLSmust be completed through American Heart Association, American Health andSafety, or American Red Cross. . Traveler mustpass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not passthe BCA test will be dismissed. SHIFTS : 12 hour night shift position Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Will float to med/surg. Will float to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands. Travelers are first to floatwithin facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanentassigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or sameshifts. ORIENTATION : 1st week of the contract, not to exceed40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. EMR : EPIC experience preferred SCRUBS : Required and not provided bythe facility. White scrub top.
