Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Care - $1,032 per week

Certification Details Active unencumbered license within the state. Temporary permit or licensure by endorsement (South Dakota LPN). Job Details Fall River Health Services is looking for an LPN for multidisciplinary care team. In this role you will provide general nursing care to residents. The LPN contributes to overall resident care which is guided by the resident care plan, facility policies and procedures, and professional standards of practice. Responsibilities include supervising Nursing Assistants, coordinating care of assigned residents, assisting in the interpretation and implementation of facility policies. Provides care within the boundaries of physician orders, department procedures and policies, and LPN scope of practice. Contributes to the nursing assessment, participates in the development of the nursing diagnosis, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions and evaluates responses. Ensures resident medical needs are met, including making provisions for outside physician visits and performing teaching to residents, families, and staff. Prepares, administers, and charts routine and emergency medication and treatment as ordered. Ensures clinical record reflects accurate and timely documentation. Performs safety and infection control procedures. Participates in Quality Management program within the facility, functioning as the primary contact person on assigned shift, and supervises resident assistants to ensure compliance with plan of care. Job Requirements Must currently hold an active unencumbered license within the State of South Dakota. OR Have a temporary permit allowing you to practice in the State of South Dakota. OR Have applied for a South Dakota LPN licensure by endorsement. Education commensurate with requirements of licensure.
