Advance Industrial Mechanical (AIM) is seeking an experienced commercial HVAC service technician for our Augusta office. AIM is an HVAC service provider with a focus on preventative maintenance, equipment replacements, equipment upgrades, etc.... Technicians must be driven and able to work independently.
Job Description:
- Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- At least 2 years of verifiable experience.
- Strong ability to diagnose and repair commercial systems.
- EPA certification.
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug testing and criminal background.
- Previous experience in HVAC/R or other related fields
- Familiarity with advanced low-voltage control circuitry
- Knowledge of Energy management systems
- Familiarity with HVAC/R wiring diagrams
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- No criminal background
- Solid, verifiable employment history and references
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a random drug trust.

Requirements
• Maybe required to move items up to 80+ pounds using proper lifting techniques
• Must be able to safely work from a ladder, scaffolding, man-lift, and other equipment
• Maybe required to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods of time
• Maybe exposed to fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts, and moderate-to-loud noise levels
• Must wear required and appropriate PPE and clothing as necessary
• Must show up to work promptly and on time as scheduled by your supervisor (schedule subject to change as needed)
• When applicable - Drive safe while at work and care for the company's vehicles (need to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license)
Salary Description
$20.00 - 30.00 hour
