Barbier Security Group is hiring Conciergeat an upscale Corporate Home Furnishings company in Central Marin. As the Concierge Ambassador you are the face and voice to represent the company. You will be the first point of contact ensuring a welcoming and professional first impression for all visitors. Each Ambassador must proactively engage with all people in the lobby and throughout the client's corporate offices to promote and maintain a welcoming atmosphere while providing an accurate reception that is beyond reproach.

Security Officers maintain an expert level of knowledge of the campus rules and provide professional interactions that promote safety to, and confidence from, all people that encompass the property.
  • Salary: $25 per hour
  • Shift available: Full-Time Grave , Part-Time Morning and Swing (Weekend availability required)

  • Demonstrate punctuality and commitment to your schedule, ensuring dependability and minimal disruptions to operations
  • Effectively controls access to the property of authorized persons at vehicle entry points with Ambassador level communication and fluently understands the access levels/restrictions of all campus parking areas
  • Demonstrate Safety as a primary focus
  • Monitor and log CCTV cameras for unusual and/or suspicious activity
  • Utilize specialized training and methodologies, to identify potential indicators of unusual and suspicious conduct
  • Completes key service requests and task work orders for all maintenance needs reported
  • Maintain situational awareness at all times
  • Respond to critical incidents including emergencies, evacuations, company policy violations, and work with law enforcement
  • Act as a deterrent to undesirable behaviors and actions
  • Understand various service standards of the hospitality industry
  • Maintains a work area with the same high regard to maintain the reputation of the property
  • Provide efficient memorable guest interactions with positivity within the lobby area.
  • Engaging visitors and employees with an inspiring level of guest service that is knowledgeable of the campus and its amenities
  • Ensuring that all guests are greeted, and all identified needs are fulfilled appropriately
  • Uses visitor management system to provide seamless pre-registered access and enthusiastically manages the access of visitors not pre-registered with the tenant host
  • Communicates with tenants effectively to ensure smooth guest arrival and experience
  • Identifies registration issues and corrects independently to allow uninterrupted guest experience
  • Performs inspections of lobby and reports all issues with lobby facilities and cleanliness immediately on discovery to ensure a consistently immaculate atmosphere
  • Effectively controls access to the building through the lobby and understands the level of access given to each type of campus visitor, tenant guest, employee, and vendor
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Valid California Guard Card
  • Previous SOC operations and dispatching experience
  • Availability to work Sunday and Mondays (2d)
  • Must have full availability for a 2 week training program
  • You must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for this role
  • Must meet the physical demands, including but not limited to: Prolonged standing for 2 - 3 hours at a time , constant standing and walking, constant use of hands and eyes, move up to 50 lbs
  • Demonstrate strong computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems
  • Knowledge of CCTV equipment, access controls, alarm monitoring, and computer databases
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Previous Security, Law Enforcement, Military or related Public Safety experience
  • Previous security responsibilities for a campus facility
  • Concierge / Ambassador experience
