Description
Zito Media currently has an opening for a Billing Assistant. Full-time position, 40
hours per week.
Essential functions of the position may include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist with various billing tasks.
  • Assist with transferring data into Zito's billing system during acquisitions or when needed during other projects.
  • Communicate with relevant parties regarding account and billing issues.
  • Create documentation relevant to billing activities.
  • Checking data for accuracy and updating account information.
  • Will work with Marketing to create promotions in the billing system.
  • Send Copyright infringement notifications, deactivate equipment when necessary and answer
  • customer questions regarding notifications.
  • Assist with accounting and support special projects as needed.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as become evident.
  • Must be prompt, punctual and have regular attendance.
Requirements
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and CSV reporting is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must have excellent data entry and mathematical skills.
  • Close attention to detail is important.
  • Must be prompt, punctual and have regular attendance.
  • Ability to multitask and work extended hours as needed.
  • Able to work with limited management involvement.
  • Must be high energy, positive attitude, team player
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Previous experience in a billing or accounting role.
  • Experience with cable billing systems.
  • Basic understanding of cable and Internet networks.
